about
Jon Egging trust
On 20th August 2011, Flt Lt Jon Egging lost his life whilst completing a display at the Bournemouth Air Festival. He was coming to the end of his first year with the world-famous Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team ‘The Red Arrows’ flying in the position of Red 4.
Jon was an inspirational person and inspiration is at the heart of everything we do at the Jon Egging Trust. The staff and volunteers at the Jon Egging Trust are chosen for their ability to act as positive role models; in turn they inspire and enthuse young people to reach their full potential.
Their accredited programmes increase young peoples’ self-confidence, self-esteem and other vital life and work skills and empowers them to become role models within their own communities. The Jon Egging Trust realises Jon’s dream of inspiring young people through his love of aviation, teamwork and leadership, helping them to overcome adversity, identify their strengths and work towards their ambitions.

lyrics
Follow your dreams
You will get there
Follow your heart
It’s out there
Be an inspiration
Always be true
Don’t be a heartbreaker
It’ll come back to you
It’s not always easy
Making your way
But do what you love
Do it every single day
Be an inspiration
Always be true
Don’t be a heartbreaker
It’ll come back to you
Thank all the ones that help you
Have only good words to say
Cuz there will be the ones that doubt you
But that’s not a game you have to play.
Follow your dreams
Follow your heart
Follow your dreams
Follow your heart
You can rule the world
You can have everything
You can bring a smile
To the face of the everyone
You can change the world
You can do anything
You can bring the love
We’ve all been missing
Follow your dreams
Follow your heart
Follow your dreams
Follow your heart
